GOTS is recognized as the world‘s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well. The use of organic fibers from organic agriculture, the elimination of toxic substances and substances harmful to the environment and the introduction of a minimum wage, is only a small excerpt from the binding GOTS criteria. You can be sure that products marked with the GOTS logo are made with social and environmental responsibility.
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling. The desired effect of GRS is to provide brands with a tool for more accurate labeling, to encourage innovation in the use of reclaimed materials, to establish more transparency in the supply chain, and to provide better information to consumers.
